Why does therapy cost so much?

Therapy is an investment in you, your relationships, and your family. Ritual Wellness ATX’s fees reflect our providers’ years of doctoral training and experience. We intentionally keep a reduced caseload in order to preserve the utmost time and attention to your individual care. Beyond our time together in session, this fee also represents additional time spent in pre- and post-session preparation including treatment planning, researching, and continued education. We truly value access to care and believe cost should not be a deterrent to accessing mental health services. We all intentionally keep some slots open on our caseload to accept clients paying with a sliding scale fee, and we also have graduate trainees that are accepting sliding scale rates.

If you would like to use your insurance, please call the number listed on the back of your insurance card to make sure your specific policy will accept insurance claims for Ritual Wellness ATX. We are currently in-network with the following insurance carriers and can provide a superbill for out-of-network clients seeking potential reimbursement:

Pricing:

We accept cash, check, credit card, and/or HSA cards (associated with your flex or health care savings account). Each clinician reserves a small number of slots on their schedule for sliding scale and clients who have fewer financial resources. If you are interested in a sliding scale, please ask your clinician if they are accepting sliding scale clients at this time.
